Does SPIDAR use herbicides or other chemicals?

SPIDAR provides sustainable, herbicide-free solutions for poison ivy eradication. Setting ourselves apart from standard Michigan landscape companies, our mechanical and organic methods guarantee effective removal while safeguarding your surrounding ecosystem.

3

Does SPIDAR offer follow-up services?

Yes! Because these resilient plants can occasionally sprout from hidden root fragments, we highly recommend a maintenance appointment 3 to 6 weeks after your initial removal. Because these follow-up visits take less time, we offer them at a reduced, cost-effective rate.

4

How do you ensure a safe environment for children and pets?

Because SPIDAR does not use herbicides, your yard will remain chemical-free. However, to ensure safety, please keep all pets and children away from the active work zones. Poison ivy and oak oils (urushiol) can transfer onto a pet’s coat and easily rub off on you or your family, potentially causing a severe reaction. My primary focus is to efficiently and thoroughly eliminate the poison ivy from your property. I am happy to share educational information about plant safety with you at a later time!

5

Will the poison ivy grow back after removal?

For lasting results, poison ivy / oak must be removed entirely, including the root system.  If the roots are extensive or inaccessible, we may recommend targeted herbicide treatments to prevent regrowth.  Ultimately, my priority is to eliminate these plants from high-traffic areas to ensure your property remains safe for you and your family.
